Our goal is that citizens in every country around the world would pray for the healing of people suffering from cancer. Why do we want to do this? The need is great. More than 10 million people will die in the year 2005 from cancer. For statistics, please click www.cancer.org or www.who.org . How can we motivate people around the world to prayer? 1. This Internet site has been visited by people from countries in the Americas, Asia, Europe, The Middle East and Africa. 2. The 24 hour prayer event can be viewed live on June 5th here on this website. Please visit www.cancerprayerday.org on June 5th to view the live prayer services. 3. Richard Shakarian, International President of The Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International's invites his ministry's chapter leaders in 160 countries around the world to join in prayer. 4. Your participation is more important than any other effort on our part. We would like you to join us in prayer on June 5, 2009. You may invite others to pray in your city, but you do not have to host a formal event. Please send and email to advise us if you plan to hold a prayer event.
